- Boiled potatoes – 3 (300 grams)
- Tomato- 6 (400 grams)
- Capsicum – 1/2 cup (100 grams)
- Butter – 1/2 cup (100 grams)
- Cauliflower – 1 cup small cuttings (200 grams)
- Peas – 1/2 cup
- Green Coriander – 3-4 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Green chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
- Ginger paste – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Red chilli – 1 tsp
- Pav bhaji masala – 2 tsp
- Salt – 1.5 tsp or as per taste
How to make Pav Bhaji Recipe at home
To make pav bhaji, wash the cabbage thoroughly and chop it finely. Now turn on the gas. Put cabbage and peas in water in a vessel and cook covered until they become soft.
Now peel the potatoes, chop the tomatoes finely, remove the seeds from the capsicum, chop it finely and keep it ready.
Now check the cauliflower and peas, if they become soft and ready then turn off the gas.

Now add 2 tablespoons butter (a little) in a vessel and mix it. Now add ginger paste and green chilli to it and fry it lightly. Now add chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, turmeric powder and capsicum, mix it and cover it and cook for two to three minutes.
Now check the vegetable to see if the tomatoes and capsicum have become soft and ready, then mash them with the help of a masher. Now add cabbage and peas and cook while mashing well.
Now when the vegetables have been mashed well, break the potatoes with your hands and add them. Along with this, add salt, red chilli and pav bhaji masala and mash the bhaji with the help of a masher or hands and cook for some time. Now add half cup or as required water. If the vegetable becomes a little thin then cook it while kneading until the vegetable appears completely thick.
Now add some green coriander and 1 spoon butter to the bhaji and mix. Bhaji is ready. Take it out in a bowl and garnish with butter and green coriander.
Bake The Loaf (Bake the Pav)
Now heat the pan on gas. Cut the pav from the middle with the help of a knife in such a way that it remains connected to the other side. Now put some butter on the pan, cook the pav lightly from both the sides, take out the cooked pav in a plate. Similarly, prepare all the pavs.
